Femicide and Insane Laws Around the World
Femicide and Insane Laws Around the World
If you don't, it literally means "the killing of a woman or a girl by a man and on account of her gender".
You must know that in Italy, only in 2023, 116 women were killed by either their ex-boyfriends or by their ex-husbands.
The reason? They probably couldn't get over the thought of being divorced by a woman. And, don't get me wrong, I'm NOT justifying them.
What they ALL did was scandalous.
And it's more scandalous the thought that until the 1950s a woman couldn't disobey to the householder.
If he hit the children, she had to stay quiet.
If he hit her, she couldn't say anything, or else there would've been rumours about her disobeying the head of the family.
In Pakistan or in Iran, a woman can get killed if she dishonors her family by having an affair, or even for getting sexually assaulted.
She'd get all the blame for it.
In some African states (ex. Central Africa zone) there are laws that the husband can cut her wife's fingers if she had an affair, or even if she disobeyed him.
Or in many Muslim states, like Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Somalia, women get buried in the hot sand with only their head out and get stoned by their husbands and male family members if they seek for a divorce, disobey the householder, or had an affair.
Every single thing I mentioned is sick.
I mean, who the hell would even think to stone their own wife?!
To the men who read this, never treat a woman like this.
Treat her with respect.
Have a good day/afternoon/evening/night!
