What is my Blog About?
"Breaking the Silence" is a blog written by me that talks about women's rights and about feminism in general.
You can already see some posts on it, which talk about feminism's history, sexual assaults and what they are, femicides and crazy laws around the law that apply for only the female population.
I started this blog after I got non-verbally harassed, and I was angry, actually feeling what most women experience all the day on my own skin, and I couldn't and still can't image the pain women feel when they get through worse (for example, rape).
I felt so angry at the thought that many people (morons), right now, through the world, are probably sexually assaulting someone.
However I also opened this blog to bring justice to all those feminists whose voice got shut, for our rights, like Emily Davison's one (1912), who stepped in front of King George V's horse to raise awareness for women's suffrage.
Feminism needs more voices, to possibly stop all the sexist people, who keep discriminating a woman's ability in doing something a man "has" to do, for example, riding a motorcycle.
Women may look fragile from the inside, but inside, they're a dragon who can spit fire at every time.
So if you want to support this blog, and if you're also, like me, angry at the whole sexism concept and how women had to fight (and still do) for their rights for over two centuries, follow me and this blog for more! (I post one or more posts everyday, about different topics).
