Survival Kit For Women When Going Out Alone At Night And What To Do If You Get Kidnapped

All women (me included) have in common one fear: walking outside, alone, at night.
But not because we're afraid of night.
Because we're afraid of getting sexually assaulted (click here to see my post about sexual assault), we're afraid of getting kidnapped.

I know, we should stay calm and not let it panic us, but we can't help it.

But that's why I'm here! To tell you how to survive the night without doing it in your pants.

«How Do I Make a Survival Kit?»

Well, dear, it's actually quite simple! All you need is a backpack.

Inside the backpack you need to put:

-Pepper spray;

-An "undercover" knife, if it's legal in your country (you never know if the assaulter possesses a weapon);

-No money (maybe put them in your pockets), so if they steal your backpack they don't find it;

-A tactical flashlight that'd make the assaulter go "blind" for enough time to run away;

-A whistle for seeking help;

-A small GPS, so that if you're kidnapped the police tracks you;

-FULLY CHARGED phone, and a power bank if you're in a urgent situation.

And remember, ALWAYS tell someone where you're going, so, if you get abducted, they can tell the police where you were directed to.

«What Do I Do If I Get Kidnapped?»

If you get kidnapped, STAY CALM, since panicking would make your brain not "work", and follow my steps:

1. If you're taken in a car, before the assaulter puts you in the vehicle, take a peek at its plate, and then, try to look from the windows, and keep in mind the roads' names, and the directions.
If you have a pen, sign all the informations discreetly, without getting caught by your captor.

2. If your captor's physical appearance clearly overpowers yours, don't provoke him, since it'd only escalate things.

3. Keep an eye for opportunities to escape. For example, if you're inside the car and the captor is distracted, then try jumping off the vehicle, or breaking the window to escape (with a rubber band), or if there's someone outside that may help you, make the help sign.

4. If you still have your phone with you, silently take it and lower its light, so the captor doesn't notice it, and text someone, or call 911 (even without talking, they can take your location).

5. If you're still outside, try attacking the captor with random things (like rocks, fingers and fists), aiming to the most delicate parts of our bodies (eyes, nose, groin and throat).

6. Keep your energies and don't give up: many people have survived in these situations by staying strong and, most importantly, hopeful.
Try BONDING with your captor, so he'll let you outside, even if controlled, and if you see that he's distracted, punch his balls and run as far as you can.

That's all I had to say for today, and...stay safe and careful!

Hugs,

-Rose❤️
